2006 NC Residential Code Books |

The 2006 NC Residential Code Books are now available. The 2006 Residential Code became effective June 1 and there will be a transition period until December 31, 2007. The Residential Code ad-hoc committee will has started to review the 2006 residential code for comments and errors.
The books are available for purchase on-line at:

Books may also be purchased at the NCDOI Office of State Fire Marshall office at 322 Chapanoke Road, Raleigh, NC. Book cost is $66.00 (plus shipping if purchased on-line). There are errors in the edition available at this time. Errata will be available at a later date to address the errors.
The second printing will be available in the early fall.
