In these challenging times for the home building industry, thousands gathered at the Charlotte Convention Center on September 12-14 to obtain their Passport to Excellence at the 5th Annual 21st Century Building Expo & Conference. This year's crowd converged on Charlotte from not only North Carolina and the surrounding states (Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia), but from other areas of our country as well. Even a few international visitors joined in to view a sold out Expo Floor featuring over 400 exhibits and eight systems-built homes. In addition, nearly a thousand participants took advantage of the exceptional seminars and continuing education courses offered during the 3-day conference.
