Please join the North Carolina Home Builders Association at the 4th Quarter Board Meeting and Installation to thank all of our 2008 officers for their year of dedicated service and welcome our new officers for 2009.  The event will be held Dec.10-11 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, 4700 Emperor Blvd., Durham, NC 27703.  The deadline for hotel reservations is Tuesday, November 18.

The first day will consist of committee meetings, and then the evening festivities begin with a welcome reception for NCHBA members at 6:00 p.m. Members will then enjoy a banquet dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by the culmination of the evening -- the passing of the gavel from 2008 President Ray Rhodes of Sanford to 2009 President Frank Wiesner of Durham, the association's 45th president.

Local associations throughout North Carolina are on the prowl for new members during November! Locals are encouraged to choose a day(s) to focus on new member recruitment.

To encourage participation and reward those who recruit towards this effort, NAHB will award double spike credits for new members recruited in November. In the spirit of competition, local associations are competing for highest percentage of members recruited in their association grouping. The top individual recruiter in each association grouping will be recognized as well. Bonded Builders Home Warranty has also added an incentive to their “Spirit of Membership Program” to assist NCHBA’s efforts in November.
